Which level to start?
 
It is suggested to sign up the beginner level for your child at the start, even if your child is in an older age or have taken drawing classes elsewhere before.
 
As our studio is more about Creative Art and Studio Habits instead of focusing on drawing skills, the knowledge we offer here may be quite different to others.
 
In short, experience matters more than age, for this reason, it is best to let your child start from the beginner groups with us.

Duration: 1.5 hour per class, 8 weeks per term.

What to prepare: Best to pick clothes that are okay to get messy before coming to the studio.
This is the best choice for all children as a start—even if they’ve taken drawing classes elsewhere.

Children will be learning all studio skills from the basic, wearing art smocks, gathering materials for painting or sculpting sessions, the proper ways of holding their sculptures etc.

If you’re looking to nurture your child’s studio skills, this is the perfect place to start.
Children in this group are expected to have a clear understanding of basic studio skills.

They will be introduced to more painting, sculpting, mixed media, and creative thinking skills throughout the term.

And also have 2-3 sessions to start a project based on their interest, to make sure they can experience what it’s like to create like an artist.

This group is ideal for children who are already has basic studio skills and have a mindset in creating.
Children in this group are expected to have a clear understanding in using all kinds of tools and have a creative mindset, they will be encouraged to lead their project like an independent artist most of the time.

They won’t be looking for answers from the teacher — instead, they’ll take the lead, decide what project to start and gather the materials in the studio.

This group is designed for children who already have a solid understanding of art skills and experience with materials.

We recommend this group for students who has already engaged with our studio for a long time.

To ensure your child has a meaningful experience, please consider whether they’re ready for this type of open-ended program before enrolling, or simply chat with us, we are happy to help!
Children in this group will be following steps by steps to complete their projects, building confidence and enjoying the satisfaction of making artworks.

They will choose from a range of finished projects demonstrated by the teacher (Jin), including paintings, clay sculptures, and mixed media.

This program is ideal for children (ages 6+) who enjoy following along with the teacher and seeing great results at the end for joyful experience.
